For those of you not familiar it is a Superwash Merino/Seacell blend fabulous sheen great for socks, sweaters, baby things, an all around good yarn. Next is Charlotte, I am not a fan of lace knitting, love the look, hate the work. However, Charlotte has changed my mind and I think I may give start a lace shawl. A terrific Superwash merino and nylon blend wonderfully durable (in case you accidentally snag the lace). That brings us to Athena, a very nice superwash merino and silk blend, the hand on this yarn is beautiful. It knits up great. I am thinking sweater possibly. It can be used for socks but they would be heavier. Athena is a nice sport weight yarn with some loft to it. Last but not least is our customers new favorite, Cool Wool a beautiful blend of Superwash Merino, Coolmax, nylon....Yep! This one is GREAT for socks. Coolmax is a poly filament that wicks moisture away from the skin and allows your feet to breathe! This yarn makes great socks for diabetics and folks with circulatory issues. What more can you ask for in a sock yarn. They are washable, durable and no more sweaty feet! Of course all of these will be dyed in delicious colorways and since you have been requesting it for quite some time we will be doing some semi-solids for those of you do want to give in to your inner wild child and wear multi colored socks. |
